Every now and again I come across some remark in a Mudcat thread that is really a prime candidate for a Gallery of Mudcat Quotations. I don't mean the quotes we dig out from what other people have said in order to make a point - though that would be an interesting colection too. I mean when some Mudcat member comes up with something worth remembering and quoting.

But we don't have such a collection at this point that I know of. Perhaps there have been previous threads like this, but I've never seen one. So I think we should have one.

Anyway, here is one to start with, taken from this thread talking about gossip concerning politicians' private lives. It's by by Rapaire:
