It was October, and my wife and I were traveling through Scotland. We went to Balmoral (the town) in a cold, drizzly evening and even though Chuck and Di were at The Big House, nobody had the decency to even offer a cup of tea! I think that is was Chuck's idea, not Di's, but even so! It was at that point that I dropped the Royals from my list of Acceptable People and I shan't invite any of them around if they come a-visiting.
