In the US, the second worst terrorist attack (Oklahoma City Bombing - 168 killed) was perpetrated by white men who were born and raised in the US, who were not Muslims, and who didn't fit any of the categories into which we so dearly love to fit everyone upon whom we want to affix the label "terrorist". I think that's worth remembering when we talk about who the terrorists are.
