Martin Gibson, Mudcatter.

I have joined. Necessity has mandated that if I wish to share my opinions here that I have had to join in order to stop the phoniness and pure cowardice that some probably regular posters have attempted by posing as me and essentially pulling a guest identity switch.

For those of you who do not already know, my posting handle is derived from my two favorite vintage guitars in my collection, an old Martin D-18 and an old Gibson J-45.

I am from Chicago. I actively play bass, guitar, banjo, and sing and have for a long time. I used to be a very liberal hippie until I grew up. I am now about as moderate as they come pulling common sense from both the left and the right. I carry in my pocket a bullshit detector that points at people or in the case here, at posters. It's readings are usually pretty accurate.
