WL, I hope you have your mother on tape! It is SO important to get the stories and songs recorded! My mother passed on this January and I wish she'd been more forthcoming with what she remembered. My dad, on the other hand, has been turning out tapes for years with his songmaking and stories. The are treasures for me and my children.

How interesting it must have been for her nad for you hearing the stories.
