Thread Name: Fixing a Digital Piano
Subject: RE: Fixing a Digital Piano
Thank you very much for the ideas! The Variation buttons did stop working simultaneously, and they are the only two of the 11 on the piano that are non-functioning. I can still use the piano as it is - just can't change from a grand to a honky-tonk piano sound for example. So you're right, Dave, it's probably a loose common connection. Not a major problem. *whew*

The kids I teach can be a bit heavy-handed in their enthusiasm as they explore those sound variations sometimes! GGRRRRRRR I'm 99% sure nothing was spilled on it, as I do keep the plastic cover over it when it's not in use.

I'll look for a can of compressed air, MMario, and for the aerosol HiHo Silver mentioned too. Off to trusty ole Canadian Tire, and Radio Shack then ... and thank you all again!
