After having one publisher say yes and then it falling through, then getting another one who said yes, to whom I said, "no thanks," and through various conversations with family, friends, and other writers, I have decided to self-publish my book, WindWords of Wyoming: brief essays on Nature, Spirituality, Animals & People.

It's really JenEllen's fault that I am doing it this way.**bg** She and I were talking about it, recently. I was bemoaning the lack of funds when she said, rather brilliantly, imo, "Why don't you presell it?"

So, to any who are interested, please visit my website (no pop-ups!) at Mindfull Spoken. The first 100 prepaid copies will be personally autographed, postage-paid. (I will be *tweaking* the website and going to no-ads, soon. Any suggestions, if not too technical, are welcome.:-)

Max says I have his blessing and good luck and a portion of each sale will be donated to the Mudcat, not just from the first 100, but from every book sold. That this book even came to fruition is due in large part to the Mudcat, PeterT and the Thought for the Day threads he started, as well as the encouragement and love of several other Mudcatters.
