My parents emigrated to Australia when my father was in his 70s - I finally managed to visit them a couple of years ago, weeks before his 90th birthday. He was complaining that he was starting to feel his age, apparently he now gets tired after walking around town for an hour or so. He was 92 a few weeks ago - once again he passed his annual medical and got his drivers licence renewed for another year. Hope I last as well as he does.

Len went ashore on the Normandy beaches on D-Day: it's the 60th anniversary of those landings this year. You can't keep a good guy down!
