The fines the FCC is considering levying isn't the reason why CC dropped Stern. They could well afford to pay the fines daily, if they have enough revenues generated by advertisers, promotions, sponsors, etc to justify it.

To suggst that Stern isn't able to pull in the premium rates in ludicrous. It is the only thing that has kept him on the air this long. He brings in the money.
