Maybe, just maybe, some of the advertisers who had been supporting Howard Stern's "work" were forced by the recent controversies to LISTEN to it a few times. And maybe they discovered it was vacant useless garbage. And maybe they pulled their dollars out. And THAT is why Clear Channel did something. And you know what, that's actually the way it's supposed to work.

Everybody's free to be a pornographic jerk, but the marketplace doesn't have to support it.
