From the safety stand point I'd agree that it would be better to have a decorated 0 correction contact lense. I've seen ones that make you look like you have cat's eyes and I thought the ones with the radiation symbol were pretty cool!

The jewelry option is more invasive and harder to reverse without leaving scar tissue on the eye. With all of the other options with decorating the face this one seems too small and expensive to bother with. I still like the idea of having eyes that glow in the dark. Maybe I can get a contact lense for that!
