I think Bush's past has left him brain damaged in ways that are similar to the recurring patterns idenitfied in the ACA studies. It happened to be on my mind as I had revisited the book for other reasons. Reading Cronkite's piece I was reminded of the interesting fact that ACA's lie with or without need -- which strikes me as something Bush does. Sorry for not making all this clear.
