Any one of a number of historical ballads by Canadian singer songwriters. These wonderful artists seem infused with a sense of place that boggles my mind. I love performing songs which tell a story well, or express an emotion in a way that makes you feel it, and when I listen to many of these songs by Bill Gallaher, Rick Speyer, or David Stone, to mention a few, it just grabs me.
