Small point, as shocking as this incident is, the police officers didn't kill him, they didn't save him.

Inquest on 24th August 2000 verdict "Unlawfull Killing"

The five Police Officers were charged with manslaughter and tried. The jury was directed to find them all "Not Guilty" on the grounds of reasonable doubt as to conflicting evidence with regard cause of death and contributing factors.
