No no no... 1-4-5 is the secret to playing country, gospel, bluegrass, old-time, Celtish, rock, folk, pop, and Bach.
The secret to blues is to sing nonsense syllables in your head while playing.
So I had a good time in the DC area. Learned to make stuffed grape leaves; I'll have to try that at home. Then off to a house concert/song circle to see Jed Marum again and to meet several of the FSGW crowd, including Catters Ferrara, Bill D., Fortunato, Gorgeous Gary, and Claymore. I was surprised and moved to hear Claymore sing an anti-war song as a tribute to Rick F., and I wanted to tell Rick about it.
Now I'm in the Boston area to see a college friend and his family.
