I would like to point out that some of the psychical 2nd stage symptoms sound suspiciously like what is commonly called "niacin flush," an unpleasant occurrance in supplementiasis. While not serious in itself, it has been known to bring on other symptoms of anxiety, irritability and irrational thinking, leading straight to the type of 3rd stage udderances you mention.
