Interesting... I had assumed that The Goodies pre-dated ISIRTA -- prolly 'cos I heard ISIRTA (on Kansas City's public radio station) many years after The Goodies were running (on Detroit's public television station). I suppose it's entirely possible that these programmes appeared in a different order than they were actually produced... any UK 'catters happen to know?

Australia is closer to British Humour than US humour, at least amongst us older ones.

I'm sure that's true (even though I had to have the phrase "pommie bastards" explained to me after I moved here ;-) ). Of course, if you're really keen, you can listen online...
