Re the skippie's meanderings on Barton, be advised allcomers that the two curry houses are stupendous - both are regularly booked out, and you WILL eat very well; also there are two respectable Chinese take-aways, one very good chippie and two pretty good ones, plus a kebab house whose large chicken kebabs with extra chilli and garlic sauce are enough to get Pavlov jealous. Course, I've only heard this from others, my diet is strictly vegan....
As one of the locals, I am very much looking forward to playing music with loads of new folk. As anyone who has visited this part of the world will know, the welcome is always warm here, I'm sure you will find much musical pleasure - not to mention other types - in this funny part of the world ( once affectionately - and erroneously- referred to by Greg as a 'pissant swamp'. Shame on you skippie, you know you can't bear to leave the place.
