Got our Marion on the bus and she is on her way. We enjoyed her visit very much, and I especially enjoyed sitting at night and swapping songs. I recorded the first of our two person sessions on my MD recorder and will enjoy revisiting the time often.

Marion is a helluva cook, in case you didn't know. She made a vegetarian enchilada dish tonight that was to die for. I then packed her in the car and took her to observe me coaching my U12 girls soccer team. Her comment, delivered in her marvelous understated Canadian way was, "Looked like fun but they forgot their sticks. Do they do that often around here?".

If you get a chance, have her sing her Underground Railway Trilogy. Wonderful stuff from our talented friend.

We greatly enjoyed her company and look forward to doing it again. The one regret is that I didn't get a chance to take her to my hill and sit and let the old Low D whistle have its way. We will do that the next time.
