It was an inspired poem Ranger1, even though you, ahem, misspelled persnippity.

The fact that there were less hits of this wonderful word than the more commonplace persnickety just proves that a little elitism is not a bad thing.

It is a word of my own devising. You may use it, but I'd like to think you'll give credit when asked, to moi...

Here we go...

The word is "Wasband"; referring to ones "Ex-Husband". I invented this back around 1984, when I had to refer to my own dear friend but no longer partner as Something and I hated the idea of having to "Ex" him out each time he came up in conversation.

There you are folks. Use it, abuse it, but know that it was devised out of love and affection...xx..e
