I have been rummaging around in Alan Lomax's recordings of Scottish gaelic music from the 1950s, and (see Sister's Lament thread) discovered the gorgeous voice of Flora MacNeill. I am sure she is famous among those who know, but I am completely ignorant (and admit it). Can anyone tell me about her, her life, are there records available, etc.? Anything much appreciated.
