Thanks for the clarification, Uncle Dave.
Seems like the Milestone nuclear plant in Connecticut had a similar fuel rod missing problem in 2000, and they never found it either. Maybe the equivalent of the infamous sock troll was involved.
Here's a riddle for you. What is the half-life of a nuclear plant PR person in this situation?
