Of course they need electrical power. Without it, they cannot re-build their economy. The article states that Col. Companies like Bechtel who, instead of supplying the necessary parts, have decided to build a brand new system which, of course, will take much more time. All because Bush didn't want Russia, France or Germany (who built the original systems) to participate in the "spoils" of his war.

It gets sicker and sicker by the moment. This is why Americans are dying. Not for democracy, not to oppose terrorism. Only to line the pockets of those who wish to monopolize the world. I thought the U.S. had laws forbidding monopolies.
