Thanks Kat. I just lost another friend this week.
Cindy had a battle with cancer. She fought it with radiation and chemo. She fought it and was winning but the result of her treatment caused brittle bones. This winter she slipped and fell and broke both of her legs. She developed a blood clot and it went to her heart and/or lungs and it killed her. She was 37 years old.
I have heard it said that a blood clot has killed more people than AIDS and heart disease combined.
