I do believe that Plan Nine From Outer Space has made some lists as the worst movie of all time.

Another favorite of mine was the original version of Invaders From Mars where martians landed a ship and it was below the surface and you had to cross this bridge to get to it. The martians controlled earthlings by putting an implant in the back of their neck. Not the greatest special effects, but a story that was well conveyed.
