Professor Quatermass had made an appearance in at least 2 pevious Brit scifi films: The Quatermass Experiment (1955) and "Quatermass 2" (1957). I haven't seen either of these films but I would love to.

One question: Is it Quatermass or Quartermass? I don't remember.
