But could you EVER be sure that a photograph is an accurate rendition of an event? A photograph is merely a representation of reality, not the reality itself. It's not just post-processing that can give us a certain (mis)interpretation - the selective process involved in the physical act of taking a photograph can do that too. It's such an interesting area - how do we represent (a version of) reality through visual media? What makes something more "real" than another?
