Sooner or later, someone would have to ask what qualifies Ms. Winfrey for the highest office in the land. She's a celebrity, and fairly likable, but I still like to think that someone should show some capacity for governance before he or she becomes President of the richest and most powerful country on earth. [However, given Arnold's recent ascent to the Governorship of California, I may be wrong about that.]

Madeleine Albright would be a better choice, in my estimation; a brilliant woman with a genuine understanding of how governments work.
