I've been told that "seeing is believing" and also that "a picture says a thousand words".
With that, coupled with today's technology, I'd think that photojournalists today might want to include this subject in their code of ethics - or do they have one?
Artists and non-professionals alike, can and should do whatever they want with the technology available. The public is not so apt to view their images as truth. Photojournalists, on the other hand, should have a little more integrity. Otherwise they just become a part of the propaganda machine.
