My brother was about to call his son Richard Edward until someone helpfully pointed out that this would inevitably be shortened to Dick 'Ed. Thankfully he took the advice and dropped the middle name. Oops - there go Newcastle out of the UEFA cup (sorry, a bit of thread drift there...)
