I'm truly saddened to learn of his death. I saw him often in LA clubs in the 50's...a great guitarist. I still have several of his old 10" lps. Always liked the tune he wrote, "64 Bars on Wilshire." Nice play on words as there were 64 bars along Wilshire Blvd. Makes me wonder if Tal Farlow and Mundell Lowe are still with us.
