I use the Crate Taxi 30 AMP, and occasionally, the 50 amp. The 50 AMP, which I don't own (but borrow on occasion, has more than two channels, as I recall. I've used the 30 AMP Taxi two or three times a week for about 18 months, with no problems at all. I've used neither with an electric base, although it has been hooked-up to an upright bass several times. 30 AMP was $175.00 US.
