This blues package is a showing of six of the seven "Martin Scorsese" films which are currently showing two nights a week on BBC 4 TV.
Some good vintage clips to be sure but there is also some dross including "blues singers" Lulu and Tom Jones in the UK film and some atrocious current (I won't call them musicians) people murdering material by Skip James and J B Lenoir. Even in this Wim Wenders pile of junk though there is some interesting amateur footage of JB, and some film of Skip himself. But the Willie Johnson section? garbage.


I guess they will probably be shown on the regular BBC TV some time in future
