I can say this in all honesty.
Gainsborough Folk Club is a very friendly environment with lots of good humoured patter, and above all Mr and Mrs Sooz have built up a club that would be the envy of most, with a bunch of local excellent singers. They encourage anybody to sing or spout verse etc, and if it hadn't been for them Lucy and Paul would probably not be where they are today.
They also have a lot of very loyal listeners.
I really enjoy going along and listening and keep on coming away, amazed at the quality of local Lincolnshire folkies.
