1) Every conversation is NOT couched in this fashion, including this one; 2)those of us that find the whole fundamentalist/patriot vibe to be repugnant simply avoid discussions, unlike this one, that are couched in these terms.

My own opinion of Jimmy Carter is that while he's no saint he IS too moral, kind and balanced to ever be President in this climate.
