i am not sure what is happening with your 'puter, Kendall,
but it might be that you can change settings to improve the
situation....on the pal talk set up list, you can choose to
have it open on demand, not have it always "on" could that
be it? the pop-ups in the free version are constant, but
i hear they do not happen in paid mode.
when i open the paltalk icon on the task bar
i have these choices:
cable modem/always connecte4d
wait for dialup connection
manual start
start paltalk
exit
(i have manual start clicked)
