Capt. Lane is an amazing character. He single handedly began the local Harborfest in Norfolk, and the Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. He has been an ambassador of the sea for Norfolk to areas north and south of the Atlantic, and even circumnavigated Virginia - Imagine. Great Lakes to Mississippi and back.
