I am unable to get into the Chat Room without crashing it or something, thus (I am sure) disappointing Whipporwill, Dale, and RS (at least) who were in when I was trying to. I should say that I am working with severe limitations of a sort: a 14.4; Netscape 3.01 (which does do Java), and I guess Macintosh. I can get into the room, and it says that the chat is running, but I can find no space to type, and nothing happens when I try and type in the chat space. Any chance, or shall I give up. It was Emily Dickinson who said: "You don't have to be a house to be haunted" -- so perhaps I will ethereally haunt the room, never allowed to do more than peek at the solid beings who inhabit the space...
