What I've decided about Mudcat is that this is the way the whole world would look if we had actually won the Revolution. You know, back when we were storming all them barricades in our youth. We changed some things, but if what we were actually shooting for had come to pass, it might all look a lot like Mudcat. Irreverant, deeply spiritual, off-the-wall, profoundly rational, easy-going, intense and passionate, joyous, pensive, funny as hell.

At least *I* envisioned a world that worked without prissiness, with liberty and license and loads of good music for all...
