Thread Name: Chord Req: Anniversary Waltz + Atchison Topeka .
Subject: Lyr/Cho Add: THE ANNIVERSARY SONG (Jolson/Chaplin)
From a book called Treasury of Waltzes, published by Albert Publications (in Australia, and this book would be from about late 60's).

I have to confess I haven't tried these chords, because my piano playing is still very basic, and there are too many accidentals to try these songs out on my lever harp, but, for what it is worth, here they are:

ANNIVERSARY SONG Based on a theme by Ivanovici. By Al Jolson & Saul Chaplin

Oh, how we danced
B7
On the night we were wed
            Em
We vowed our true love
       Am                  Am
Though    a word    wasn't   said
B7          Em B7    B+ B7    Em
The world was in bloom
       B7
There were stars in the skies
                   Em
Except for the few
Am            Em
That were there in your eyes
                  B7                Em

Dear, as I held you
D9
So close in my arms
      C       G
Angels were singing
D7
A hymn to your charms
C6      G
Two hearts gently beating
B7
Were murmuring    low
             Cdim Em   B7
"My darling, I    love          you so."
       Am Am6       Em-Edim    B7 Em
