You know, it never occurred to me to wonder who wrote all those songs that I remember from watching TV as a child in the 50's and (mostly) 60's. I'd love to know if you've been able to track down any of the songwriters. I do have quite a few stored away in my dwindling memory banks. One of my favorites is what I called "the world's shortest commercial," for a liquid cleaner: "Try White Cap!" That was it! I think it lasted 5 seconds, and the visual was a picture of the bottle, which I believe had a picture of a nurse on the label, or maybe just a nurse's cap. The tune is the same 1-6-4 that's better remembered as "N-B-C" or "Go Greyhound [and leave the driving to us]"

Aloha,
Mark
