I do proof reading all the time and there's no point in repeating someone's typo's if you're aware of them.

The chorus line should read, according to STAN ROGERS: SONGS FROM FOGARTY'S COVE, p. 86:

"Tracing one warm line through a land so wide AND savage"

And, yes, it's a damn fine song.
