As I only learned of his passing this afternoon, it was too late to make the service, which is frustrating because I'm only 1/2 hour away and was doing nothing worthwhile today anyway. Perhaps I can make it to Potter Valley on Friday. I just ordered the CD, looking forward to getting it. In the meantime I have a copy of the String Creek Band demo tape that Mitch, Ken Burnett, and Bob Eisenhauer made at Spencer Brewer's in '96, as well as a tape of our KZYX appearance, full of Mitch's commentary (and bad jokes!) that I can listen to in remembrance of him.
