Ossen et al, the Glaisdale run is, as has become "tradition", on the first Sunday of Folk Week. As the Moon and Sixpence has closed the fair Lady Wombat and I spent a couple of Saturday lunchtimes driving out along the railway line to try a find another suitabel venue only to find ourself back in Glaisdale talking to the Lanlord of the Arncliffe Arms who is to open his lower bar which we can have sole use of, he is going to put staff on and I will ask that he has the facilities to make sandwiches etc. The new train timetable should be avaialble this weekend so I will pick up a copy and let people know the times of trains. Approx 12.30 out and 4.00 back, I din't know that the Glaisdale Sunday had set itself up to rival Lisdoonvarna in the matchmaking stakes, normally the matchmaker get a fee ...........
