it is not a matter of insular or not, folks....even if cricket bacame the most played sport on the planet (and it AINT!), "He's gone" is not a reasonable way to refer to it.

I do not comprehend why it is thought cute and/or clever to use such an oblique reference in forum like this where it 'could' mean anything to those who are NOT cricket fans.
