Freightdawg, I contrast the "hot and beautiful" of the desert environment to "hot and muggy as hell" of the Texas prairie summer environment. There is beauty here also in Texas, but it's harder to see when you are so sticky and uncomfortable from the heat. And in New Mexico it cools down nicely in the evenings; not so, here.
