We were saddened to hear of the death of a good friend of more than 40 years. Our children have fond memories of this man from when they were toddlers and they're now 40 and 42. We have made many a journey to The Folk Music Center and are pleased to know that it will continue without Charles and his wife, Dorothy, also a dear, dear friend.

The thing we remember most about Charles is something he said when we bought a Martin 000-28 guitar from him. He said, "I don't sell guitars. I perform marriages between people and guitars."
