I don't know if you remember me, but I have red hair, and I too lived in Ventura during those same years in the mid 70's. I was over at your place to visit with Mitch quite frequently. You lived right down the alley from "John's at the Beach" Restaurant. He used to play at the "Open Mike" there, and we would go to support him while enjoying a cold pitcher of beer off the tap.

Mitch and I were in the Navy together and served aboard the U.S.S. Norton Sound, home-ported at Port Hueneme. I kept in contact with Mitch all through the years, and he actually played a big part in my decision to move up to Northern California myself. He was a great friend and I will miss him dearly.
