Lin, I think that most times when chords are requested, it's also appropriate to furnish lyrics in the same thread. I hate it when I find chords posted here for a song I'm seeking, and then find the lyrics were never posted.
As I see it, when we reply to a request, our reply is for the good of everyone, not just for the requestor.
I had no idea that Johnny Mercer wrote lyrics for Lil' Abner. Mercer is one of my favorites.
