Hi Bloke, no official organised sessions as such, it's an open air type thing , but there's bound to be a few guitarists etc sat on the grass/benches.Queens Gardens is the big public park type thing right in the middle of Hull, rihjt in front of Hull College. There is a stage with PA etc, there is a cafe right next to the main stage, I don't think it is licensed for alcohol, but soft drinks, snacks, ice creams etc are available. Acts as far as I Know are all local, ie Emma Rugg, Cowfish etc. Its an annual thing paid for by Hull City Council music fund.
Queens Gardens is really easy to find, it has Humberside Police HQ at one side, Hull College at the end, and Hull Council buildings at the opposite end.
It's part of a series of music events that Hull city Council sponsor throughout the summer, they are on altenate Saturdays from June till August, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Rock etc.
There is a session, run by Mike Rogers at Sharkeys George Street, the pub on the road next to the police station, it starts at 2PM, its a good session, Mike Rogers was a finalist in the BBC Raw Talent thing, and he's just made a CD.
